  Perahu Kertas is a movie that directed by Hanung Bramantyo in 2012 . the story is writen by Dewi Lestari in 2009 as a novel with the same title. The actresses are Maudy Ayunda as kugy and Adipati dolken as Keenan. 

     The story sets in 1999, kugy is an unique girl and she loves writing fairytale. Kugy studies in a university that located in Bandung. She wants to be an author of fairytale, but she relizes that job is strange and doesn't produce  much money co she decides to study in phiology faculty to support her dream. Keenan is a youth that has just graduated from senior high school. Keenan has stayed in Amsterdam for six month. He has a promise to his father to study management. Unfortunately, Keenan's father doesn't support Keenan's dream as a painter.

     Kugy and Keenan meet each other because Kugy is Noni's friend, Keenan is Eko's cousin and Noni and Eko are a couple. After a long time, Kugy and Keenan fall in love each other, but they don't show their feeling. Keenan decides go to Bali to improve his skill and get out from university. Kugy hastens her study and works in an advertisement company, then she meets Remi. Remi falls in love to Kugy and Kugy accepts Remi's love. Keenan meets Luhde and Luhde always support Keenan to improve his skill and they fall in love each other. Although Kugy and Keenan have darling, but they still keep their love. One day Kugy and Keenan meet in Eko and Noni's wedding party. Kugy and Keenan show their love and meke a love relationship. 

      The movie has a good performance and presentation. The story is realistic and has a perfect plot so the viewer understand easily how is the story. The actresses play well and they can play the character like a real. They get chemistry each other. Actually there are differences between the novel and the movie and the actress that play as Noni and Eko aren't suitable enough because they look older than Kugy and Keenan.

     The movie is suitable to be watched by teenager because the massage from this story can make the viewer try hard to get their dreams although there are many problems that they will face.
